Some dogs prefer to explore the world outside the confines of their home. Unfortunately, these types of dogs often get mistaken as strays. To make things worse, strangers would often assume that these dogs were being abused. However, even if a dog chooses to go out, it doesn’t mean their home situation is bad.

A fluffy dog named Doldol can often be seen wandering about at the local beach. He loves interacting with people and gladly receives food from them. (He especially loves those little Nori seaweed sheets) It’s easy to assume that Doldol is a stray, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Doldol is owned by a couple who operate a local restaurant. His owners are kind and good people. They allow Doldol to roam free because he gets depressed if tied up. His owners know there’s nothing their dog loves more than interacting with people.

Doldol rarely stays at his home. The owners are always busy preparing meals for their establishment. So the dog would rather run around outside where people can play with him. However, this means he’s always at risk of being taken away by people mistaking him for a stray.

To remove the risk the comes with being a free-spirited dog, the owners were given a special item. It was a shirt for dogs with a message written on the back. The message says that Doldol is not a stray dog and states his name. This way, anyone seeing him won’t get the wrong idea.

When Doldol wore the shirt, the people he constantly visited responded positively. They finally got to know the dog’s real name. They also felt relieved that he wasn’t a stray dog in an unfortunate circumstance.

The owners can rest easy knowing Doldol will always come back to them at the end of the day. This is a rare scenario that not every dog owner can or wishes to be in. Yet for Doldol and his owners, it’s the best setup they could ever wish for.
